1. Payment Options

  • Accepted Methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
  • Currency: All payments are processed in U.S. dollars. Customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees.
  • Payment Timing: Orders ship once full payment is received. (Heads up: certain PayPal transactions, like eChecks, may take extra time to clear.)

2. Net Terms

We are dedicated to keeping our candles fresh and handcrafted—no stale, mass-produced vibes allowed! Because of our small-batch production style, we do not offer net terms directly. We truly appreciate your understanding that our commitment to quality requires us to receive payment upfront.


3. Faire vs. Direct Wholesale

  • Net Terms: If net 60 terms are a must-have, you can order our products via Faire.com. Faire handles all aspects of payment, including invoicing and net terms.

4. Minimum Order Requirement

Our minimum order is $100 (before shipping, taxes, or discounts). If you’re teetering just below that threshold, let us know—we’ll happily recommend some best-selling items to round out your cart. After all, who doesn’t want a few extra candles?


5. Shipping Policies

5.1 Shipping Costs

  • Carriers: We primarily ship via UPS (though we may use USPS or FedEx in special circumstances).
  • Real-Time Rates: Your shipping cost is based on real-time carrier rates and your order’s weight and dimensions. We do not add extra handling fees.
  • Insurance: Let us know if you need insurance or signature confirmation on your package; we can add that cost into your shipping total.

5.2 Delivery Time & Processing

  • Processing: We aim to have all orders processed and ready to ship within 4–5 business days after payment. Orders placed by 10 AM EST often ship out faster, but timing can vary based on order volume.
  • Delays: Please keep in mind carriers sometimes experience delays (holidays, peak seasons, weather, Mercury retrograde … it happens). Once an order leaves our facility, it’s in the hands of the shipping gods.

6. Handmade, Small-Batch Production & Just-in-Time Inventory

All of our candles are hand-poured in small batches—so they arrive to you freshly crafted and more potent in their magic. We produce what you need, when you need it, so we don’t hold massive stock.

  • Backorders: If an item is out of stock, we’ll let you know. Depending on timing, we may split-ship or hold the entire order until everything’s ready. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

7. Larger Orders (Over $2,000 or 20+ Units of the Same Item)

Big order? Big love! (And a bit more time.)

  • Extended Production Time: We’ll contact you with an estimated production timeline, which can range from a few extra days to a couple of weeks, depending on the candle type and volume.
  • Updates: If any surprises pop up, we’ll keep you posted on progress.

8. Summer Shipping (Melt Prevention 101)

To protect your candles from summer heat waves, we do not ship on Fridays during the hottest months, because nobody wants a molten wax blob. Here’s the schedule we typically follow:

  • Long-Distance Orders: Ship on Mondays
  • Regional Orders: Ship on Thursdays (for shorter transit times)
    If you’d like faster shipping in hot weather (or if you’re in a scorching climate year-round), just let us know so we can quote expedited options.

9. International Shipping

We welcome international orders! Here’s the quick rundown:

  • Primary Carrier: UPS International
  • Duties & Taxes: These fees are the responsibility of the customer and vary by country.
  • Delivery Times: Typically range from 7–14 business days, but may be longer depending on customs.
  • Paperwork: We’ll handle the required customs documentation on our end. Keep an eye on your local rules to make sure you can receive candles without issue.

10. Order Policies & Returns

10.1 5-Day Inspection Policy

Once your shipment arrives, please inspect everything within 5 days and let us know if any items are missing or damaged in transit. If there’s damage:

  • Photo Evidence: Snapping pictures helps us process a claim quickly.
  • Resolution: We’ll replace items or credit your account once the damage is confirmed.

10.2 No Dust Guarantee (Product Exchange Policy)

We believe in stocking what sells—and we want you to, too! So, if you have candles gathering dust, you can exchange them within 6 months of purchase for products that fly off your shelves.

  • Condition: Exchanges apply only to unused, unopened items in sellable condition (no meltdown, scribbles, or scuffs).
  • Exclusions: Discontinued or limited-edition products are not eligible for exchange under this guarantee.
  • Fees: We currently do not charge a restocking fee on exchangeable items. Return shipping costs, however, are typically the retailer’s responsibility unless we made an error.
  • Processing: We’ll process exchanges within 5–7 business days of receiving your returned items.

11. The Fine Print (Legalese, but Make It Brief)

  1. Policy Changes: We reserve the right to modify these policies at any time, so make sure to check back occasionally for updates.
  2. Shipping Liability: Once your order leaves our hands, shipping carriers are responsible for delivery. We’re happy to help file claims, but we can’t control delays or lost packages.
  3. Address Accuracy: Please double-check that shipping address, especially if you’re under a new moon’s influence! If packages bounce back due to an incorrect address, any redelivery fees will be billed to you.
  4. Limited Liability: Coventry Creations isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss resulting from order delays or cancellations, as spelled out by the disclaimers above.
