Manifesting New Business, Part 2: The Art of Intention

“Intention is the seed of manifestation.” —Shakti Gawain

In the journey of manifestation, belief is the spark that ignites the process, but intention is the guiding force that shapes your reality. It’s the blueprint that aligns your actions with your desired outcome, transforming your business vision into tangible results.

Aligning Your Actions with Your Goals

“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” —Tony Robbins

Intention is the bridge between thought and action, the catalyst that propels you from merely dreaming to actively creating. When you set clear, specific intentions, you provide your subconscious mind with a roadmap, allowing it to navigate the path to your goals with laser-like focus.

Vague aspirations like “I want to be successful” or “I desire wealth” lack the clarity and direction necessary to manifest their full potential, or anything of value. In fact, you might have the opposite. A friend of mine tried to manifest “wealth,” and shortly after, she was hit by a truck and won a settlement. Not the best way to accrue wealth.

In Real Sorcery: Strategies for Powerful Magic, author Jason Miller said,

“The bottom fifty percent, half the people on planet Earth, lived on less than $800 a year.” […] My point is simply this: you can’t just do magick with the aim of being wealthy.”

Put another way, we seem like millionaires to our ancestors. We have insulated homes, A/C, running water, electricity, cars, the Internet—a luxury they could not even fathom existing, phones that contain more knowledge than humans, fit in your pocket, and do not require cords. We have home computers, digital books, streaming audio, and on-demand movies.

So when we use vague terms like wealthy or rich, our spirits are scratching their heads thinking, “But you’re wealthier than I ever was! Look how far you’ve come” and don’t see the point in helping you.

Turning Intentions into Actionable Steps

“Assume the state of the wish fulfilled. Live from the end. Live from the state of your wish fulfilled.” —Mitch Horowitz

Intention without action is merely a wish, a fleeting thought that dissipates into the ether. In order to bring your intentions to life, you must break them down into actionable steps — a series of practical, measurable tasks that move you closer to your desired outcome.

Identify the milestones, deadlines, and key performance indicators that will gauge your progress, and create a detailed plan of action. Celebrate small wins along the way, as each accomplishment reinforces your belief and fuels your momentum.

Staying Focused and Consistent in Your Efforts

“When you focus on something continuously, something magical happens.” —Tony Robbins

In the realm of manifestation, consistency is king. Wavering focus and inconsistent effort can derail even the most well-intentioned plans, allowing doubt and distraction to seep in and undermine your progress.

Cultivate the discipline to stay the course, even when the journey becomes challenging or the results seem elusive. Surround yourself with reminders of your intentions, whether through vision boards, affirmations, or daily rituals that keep you centered and motivated.

Remember, the universe responds to the vibrations you emit – when you remain steadfast in your intentions and actions, you attract circumstances and opportunities that align with your desired reality.
